Strategic Healthcare Advisors (SHA) is a team of healthcare specialists who help innovation reach its full potential. Together, we bring decades of experience across science, finance, regulation, and commercial growth in human and animal health.
Founder
SHA was founded by Caroline Chauché, a French veterinarian and British-trained scientist with experience in innovation financing, R&D strategy, and technology transfer. She built SHA around one belief: the right team at the right moment can carry promising science all the way to market.
Team
Eric Del Cotto has more than 30 years of experience growing international MedTech businesses. He led Southern Europe and the Middle East for Owen Mumford and France for KCI Medical. Through EFFIPERF Health and his board roles, he helps companies turn strategy into commercial results.
Tiffany Campion specialises in non-dilutive funding. She helps innovators find and secure the grants and public programmes that fuel their next stage of development. She also leads SHA’s operations.
Lorenzo Pompei Devedeux, Chief Business Officer, spent a decade in institutional finance with Citi, J.P. Morgan, and State Street. He is a MedTech founder and a European Commission funding expert who has evaluated more than 200 innovation projects. He connects innovators with the capital and partners they need to grow.
Jean-Luc Troch brings more than 40 years of veterinary diagnostics expertise from IDEXX EMEA. He is Honorary President of D4A, and his deep knowledge of veterinary markets and regulation guides companies entering animal health.
Harry Paul, former CEO of Tharos, has more than 30 years of experience commercialising innovation across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and animal health. He is a Partner at Access India Ventures and brings investment, governance, and international expertise to SHA’s work.
Network
Together with the wider SHA network across the UK and the EU, the team supports innovators in three ways. We help human-health technologies find new applications in animal health. We work alongside mid-cap companies as they enter new markets. We also partner with public institutions to support international growth within the France–UK corridor.
